It encompasses many things and includes Data-Driven-linear television (such as The Voice where the lion’s share of audience watches in real-time based on an appointment set by the network or station) as well as connected TV, where you might use a smart TV or an app to watch water cooler content such as The Walking Dead.
What inventory is available in OTT?
Tradr is media agnostic in our media selection, as we are audience directed and not programming directed. Tradr purchases inventory on all available Connected TV platforms ensuring programming is high quality, professionally produced Full Episodes and reaches the target audience. Examples of those inventory sources are: SlingTV, DirecTV NOW, A&E, Fox, ESPN, BBC America, Discovery Networks, Lifetime, FX, History, FYI, Crunchyroll, Tubi.tv, AMC, HGTV, DIY, PlutoTV, Travel, AOL, NBC Sports, Food Network and Newsy and others. In total we have full pipe access to 200+ publishers.

Tradr is media agnostic in our media selection, as we are audience directed and not programming directed. Tradr purchases inventory on all Addressable platforms. All addressable inventory will run on national Cable Stations and Networks such as: NBC, ABC, A&E, Fox, ESPN, BBC America, Discovery Networks, ESPN Networks, Viacom Networks, Lifetime, FX, History, HGTV, DIY, Travel, Food Network and others.
What inventory is available in Data Driven Linear?
Tradr is media agnostic in our media selection, as we are audience directed and not programming directed. Tradr purchases inventory on all national TV stations. Examples of those inventory partners are: NBC, ABC, A&E, Fox, ESPN, BBC America, Discovery Networks, ESPN Networks, Viacom Networks, Lifetime, FX, History, HGTV, DIY, Travel, Food Network and others.
How does your bidder work?
We have full pipe into 200+ publishers where we can accept or reject impressions based on if they fit our predetermined audience target.
Do you manage frequency capping?
Yes, with all our plans across OTT & Addressable we utilize industry standard methods on frequency capping to ensure no one person gets too many impressions and is inundated with your brands advertising. We are very focused on making sure the brand experience is positive across the board.
Is there a preferred data set to build user profiles?
Yes, the data set that best works for your brand’s target audience. We have access to 120 different syndicated 3rd party data partners. Everyone from Experian, Shopcom, Rentrak and Dunn & Bradstreet to name a few. We use all data sets that will best work for your brand or can use your CRM data, depending on what works best. We are data agnostic and are just looking for the best match to your consumers.
What does reporting include?
Standard reporting is for Impression delivery of your target audience. Impressions by daypart, day of the week, creative and weekpart as well as campaign to date reporting. We can share sample reporting, if you would like to see it.
How do you validate audiences?
All reporting of audiences is available via third party sources like Nielsen and Open RTB. All impressions are 100% 3rd party validated.
Is there a monthly minimum?
For OTT –
The month minimum is $25K a month. Anything less than this will not provide a large enough sample size to get a read.
For Addressable –
A minimum test is $250-350K for a month, depending on the audience that is being targeted.
For Data Driven Linear –
A minimum test is $60K for a month, to be able to guarantee CPM delivery.
Are there any limitations?
Limitations are based on the size of the audience, too narrow of an audience will result in a targeting pool too small to be effective.
Can strict blacklists/whitelists be implemented?
Yes, but scale & CPMs will be impacted.
How do you measure success?
Hitting the target audience and CPM deliveries.
What is the timeline?
Creatives need to be at the dubhouse 2 weeks prior to launch to ensure all start dates are met. Media proposals are typically turned around in 48 hours, as needed.
Is your platform set up to sell in an open or private marketplace?
Tradr platform is setup to work in both an open and private marketplace. The best CPMs come from Private Marketplace deals, but we take advantage of both to optimize for the best audience delivery.
Is your platform a DSP or a SSP platform?
Tradr is an SSP platform.
What kind of platform do you offer (Linear or Nonlinear)?
Tradr offers Data Driven Linear, OTT (Nonlinear) and Addressable TV.
How much of each Networks’/ stations’ available inventory do you have access to? Any limitations?
Tradr has access to over 200+ platforms on OTT with no limitations. On the Data Driven Linear & Addressable TV space to we have access to all National & Local inventory. The only limitations come from creative approval.
Which network dayparts do you sell?
We sell any and all networks and dayparts. No limitations or restrictions.
Can we request a fixed daypart mix plan?
Yes, we can deliver a fixed daypart mix plan. Any restrictions on airings may affect the CPM.
Which Nielsen currency do you work with?
We have access to all Nielsen currencies.
Do you offer advanced targeting and optimization on all networks?
Yes, all networks are available on Data Driven Linear.
Do you guarantee impressions on each individual network purchased?
We guarantee impressions at a plan level, as we are buying based on an audience and not based on a network. We follow the audience, not the media. Tradr is media agnostic. We do not buy media we buy audiences.
Do you guarantee impressions for overall buy (inclusive of multiple Networks)?
Yes, we guaranteed impressions for the overall buy.
Do you offer a self-serve platform?
Tradr is a managed service platform.
Do you provide in-flight and post-campaign reporting?
Yes, we provide weekly in-flight reporting and post-campaign reporting.
How do you access your TV inventory?
We have access to all National & Local inventory on TV.
Are impressions displayed on the plan?
Yes, we detail on impressions on the plan.
Can you guarantee on a strategic demo? Example – A25-54 w HHI $75K+
Yes, we can guarantee on a strategic demo on Data Driven Linear, OTT and Addressable.
What data sources do you use?
120+ major 3rd party data sources are available for any plan. As well as our ability to use a brand’s CRM data.
Are there any data fees?
No all data targeting is including in the media costs.
Can you geo target?
Yes, we can target based on geography.
What is your basis of delivery? Equivalized or Unequivalized?
Our default reporting is Unequivalized, but we can deliver on either, as long as it is determined in the planning stage.
